Geofair 2023, the premier rock, mineral, fossil and gem show, will be held on May 6 and 7, 2023 at the Sharonville Convention Center in Cincinnati, Ohio. The show is the production of the Cincinnati Mineral Society and the Cincinnati Dry Dredgers, two organizations dedicated to promoting interest in earth sciences and related hobbies.

Geofair is one of the largest earth science events in the Midwest, attracting visitors and exhibitors from all over the country. This year's show is themed "Midwest Minerals & Fossils".

The Geofair 2023 show will take place at the Sharonville Convention Center located near I75 and I71, at 11355 Chester Road, Sharonville, OH 45246, on May 6+7. The venue offers free parking for attendees, making it a convenient and accessible event for all.

Visitors to the show will have access to four illustrated earth science programs, covering topics related to rocks, minerals, fossils, and gems. The programs are designed to be both informative and entertaining, making them suitable for visitors of all ages.

In addition to the programs, there will be over 50 retail and wholesale dealers at the event. The dealers will offer a wide range of products, from rare and exotic gems to affordable jewelry and mineral specimens.

One of the highlights of this year's Geofair show will be the "Ugly Rock" contest. Visitors are invited to bring their "ugliest" rock specimens to the show, and a panel of judges will determine the winner. The contest is a fun way to showcase the unique and unusual features of rocks and minerals that might otherwise go unnoticed.

The show will also feature 70 displays of gems, minerals, fossils, and jewelry from museum, university, and private collections. These displays will offer visitors a chance to see some of the most beautiful and fascinating specimens in the world.

Visitors are encouraged to bring their own specimens for identification and learn more about their geological significance taking advantage of free fossil, meteorite, mineral, and gemstone identification services at the show. Experts will be on hand to help visitors identify their specimens and answer any questions they may have.
The event is open to the public and admission is just $7 for adults, $6 for seniors and students, and free for children under 12.

Geofair 2023 is an excellent opportunity for rock and mineral enthusiasts, collectors, and families to come together and explore the wonders of the earth. Don’t miss out on this exciting event!
