Don't mark my words, but it could be quartz with rust. Crystals do tend to form where rusty mineralization meets quartz.

vdhinesh79:

I find your posts frustrating. You post one fuzzy picture of some random rock and ask us to identify it for you. Perhaps part of my frustration comes from the fact that i don't know why you want these rocks IDed or why you think this is the right place to get help.

But you may have a genuine desire to learn geology. Let me suggest better ways to learn basic geology:
* Get an introductory textbook on geology and look especially at the sections on igneous intrusive rocks to understand more about the rocks you have shown here.
* Join a local geology club.
* Take several of these rocks to a local geology department and you will quickly learn a lot of stuff about the rocks that seem to interest you.
* Find online communities that like to discuss rocks.

Note again that this forum is devoted to mineral specimens not rocks.

My sense is that if all you do is keep posting single fuzzy pictures of random rocks here, and do not do the things i have suggested above, that you will have shown that you are not serious about learning about the rocks that seem to interest you. In that case, all the time i spend on answering your posts is wasted. That is why i am frustrated.
