Hi Everyone,
I'm a recently retired former lighthouse keeper, now living on northern Vancouver Island.
A friend took me out to some abandoned mine sites yesterday, and I am now hooked on rockhounding!
I'm looking forward to learning and eventually participating.

Hi John, welcome from NJ (and from an ex-Quebecer) too! It's a fun hobby and this is a great group, we look forward to hearing more about your adventures.

Thanks to everyone for the welcomes!
It's great to be part of a group with such a variety of members, and it's a lot of fun reading about this fascinating new world. |
