Saturday night awards dinner and silent auction. A MUST see and a great way to support the TGMS who make this whole MAIN show come about. Please, let's see some more support next year?
All ages are awarded and it would be nice to see a cheering squad, although Kristalle did a fine job of that this year!

...The dinner was really good! They had all sorts of choices and a couple of chefs slicing roast beef or making shrimp dishes...it was quite tasty.

...Rob Lavinsky of Arkenstone urges children to enter minerals in competition and offers a nice cash award to those that do.
I was sad to see that we only had one photo op, as the kids were in hotel rooms asleep or with their parents elsewhere. Lauren, however, was called back up as she is 17 and still eligible. She won a cash award from Rob.
