Can someone tell me the members of the babingtonite group. I recently found some odd colored babingtonite in the Holyoke Traps and I wonder about the intense peacock feather effect across the crystal faces, blue, green and red flashes. Could it be an effect of alteration products on the surface or a different member of the group. I'll try to capture the effect in a photo to follow.
