This is one of my newly acquired specimens I purchased from a vender at a bazaar. I took the photo with my cannon cyber shot 14.1 mega pixel camera zoomed as far as I could and still have a the picture in focus about 2X and then cropped the photo to 5.2X the size of the original
The following is the information that came with the meteorite
These newly found meteorites come from Gran Chaco Gualamba, Argentina. They are classified in Group 1 and are composed by 6.66% NI, 0.43% Co, 0.25% P, 87 ppm Ga, 407 ppmm Ge, 3.6/5 ppmm Ir, almost the entire remaining portion of the meteorite is iron.
These meteorites are found in a closed forest where there is no standing water several feet underground; therefore, naturally preserving their excellent quality and capable to compete with Gideon on Sikhole-Alin in thumbprints and character.
Campo del Cielo Meteorites are famous for thier fully regmaglypted and in some cases, oriented specimens with fresh fusion crust.
Museums, collectors and amateurs appreciate this meteorite for their quality, character and reasonable value.
