Your taste is improving, Tobi.

Impressive color in the Mexican garnets, a nice soon-to-be-a-classic Daoping pyromorphite and a great Blanchard mine fluorite.

Thank you very much for that kind comment on my specimens and my taste, Carles :)

I tried some close-ups of the specimens:

FOV 15 mm
Interesting to see the structure of those tiny crystals (~ 5 mm): They are somehow hollow like a tube but completey terminated, even with many small edges on top.

Very nice color!

Yes, i like this small German classic, the colour is fine! Here's another picture that i took (picture above was from the previous owner). This pyromorphite has an interesting habit (i fear the picture does not show this): It seems as if there are two generations of pyromorphite. There's a layer of dark botryoidal pyromorphite on the matrix, and upon this brighter pyromorphite has grown in small terminated crystals ...

New specimen, mimetite from Germany. A quite large and impressive specimen from the famous mimetite locality near Badenweiler in Black Forest. Most mimetites from that area have a pale yellow colour, this one shows a vivid orange colour.
