Tobi I live in Amazonite central not too far from the Amelia pegmatite in Virginia. I will be collecting this spring and see what I can come up with.

Hi Tobi
It will be a pleasure to get out this spring as I was laid up inside, literally, for almost the entire year in 2012. The Amelia produces a lot of Amazonite and Chlorophane, some topaz. I have never collected Chlorophane due to it's delicate nature but this year we will see what we can come up with. I went out in July 2012 for five minutes and melted down. This year is different though. Take care. Mark

Hi Don,

i'm glad that my humble gallery of minerals was viewed that often. Here's another reason to look at it - my own photos of the Chinese stibnite above. Though this mineral is hard to photograph, i think the pictures are quite good.
