Some pieces were not sold, but we found that some were won, by us, on the first bid as we waited to see if anyone else was bidding and Jim would say "What do you think?" and I would say "Let's go for it" and bam, we would win it!

Well, after a wild week of entertaining guests for dinners and viewings, we have settled into a somewhat quiet time, at least for a day or two. I have had many inquiries about the auction, about the procedure and our honest opinions....again, this was new for us too. I saw many people physically attend, and have since heard from many that were on line or on the phones. While a very few were saddened not to win the "ONE" thing they wanted, they did manage to pick up a few other things that they didn't have on their radar. Frankly, they felt like they got a good deal, or as we Americans say " A bang for the buck."

As you can see, many pieces were in a very acceptable price range, there was something for everyone there.
