I hope this section will produce some interesting specimens that are not that well know. I will start with an aquamarine from the Mourne mountains.

The left hand crystal is from Mourne (the right hand one is from Siberia)

Got this at a uk mineral show in 1999

Nice gmelinite 'rose' with analcime, on basalt matrix. The crystal is complete and undamaged. |
