Jim and I went to bed at 1 a.m. And got up at 3 a.m. And out the door at 4. Still driving as I type, 12 hours and still 160 miles to go! Heading to Denver!

Oh yes, here we are again. We arrived last night after a 15 hour drive. Went to Boulder for a great dinner with good friends, then came to our hotel to get some much needed sleep. We had gone to bed at 1 a.m. and got up at 3 a.m. to head out the door at four.

We drove up through North Texas and into Oklahoma and then on to Kansas, hooked a left and drove to Colorado. LONG day.

I had trouble loading photos, so bear with me...And I see the title of my thread has my name spelled wrong ! EEK. Spann should be the correct spelling!

After a great meal with friends we found our way to our hotel, unloaded and settled in for a long deserved sleep. Woke this morning much more refreshed. We had been asked to be filmed for a popular t.v. show, The Prospectors, and had to get over to the Ramada Inn to be filmed in the Dorris's room, the home of smoky quartz and amazonite and other fabulous Colorado minerals. Jim and I had a grand time talking minerals and showing some of our purchases too!

I was surprised how I wasn't nervous at all, considering two cameras were aimed at us most of the morning, the crew was great to work with.

Sorry for the inconveniences, right now we are in the process to move FMF to a new server, more modern and operative. When the process ends we will let it know. The future will be splendorous! ;-)
