Hello,

I bought this piece in september 1999

The label said Hemimorphite with Smithsonite?? on limonite matrix.

I think the black mineral is Plattnerite or some manganese oxides.

The smaller Hemimorphite xx are transparant.

Is it possible to pinpoint the location down to or the Ojuela mine or to a mine in the Santa Eulalia district?

Black is chalcophanite

I do not see the supposed smithsonite but many specimens from this find have botryoidal willemite that was misidentified as smithsonite
