Hello, thanks for posting, perhaps you might like to know that we don't do prices on this site nor do we offer things for sale. This site belongs to a mineral dealer, and out of respect we would never do that to him. You might wish to go to Mindat.org and check out the forum and find the one that let's you ask for prices on photographed minerals. Cheers!

And even if we would do so - it wouldn't be possible with that specimen. You say "a" zeolite? Which one? What's the locality where it was found in Brazil? And finally, please forgive me, are you sure this is some kind of "rare" zeolite? It looks like some rock that was picked up from the ground. You should assure that this is a certain kind of zeolite, then you should take photos from all angles and finally ask on a site like Mindat.org for the value.
Cheers!
Tobi

Thank you Gail, thank you Tobi.
We promote frequently many other dealers / sellers and their minerals at (for example) the Mineral Show's reports. So, in fact the topic could be something more simple: wrong or right when we started this Forum we decided that it will be a non commercial Forum and this is it! ;-)
Please see the point 5 of the A general guide for using the Forum with some rules and tips :
5.-) We do not allow any form of publicity on these pages, or links to any other web pages that are not related to the theme being discussed or the aims of the forum. This is not a commercial forum, so the sale of minerals is not allowed.
I locked this post to avoid unnecessary discussions. The sellers tends to be persistent ;-)

Mindat does not provide appraisals of individual minerals. There is a facebook site "What's it worth?" and people who want actual estimated prices for minerals may go there. (There is a similarly titled "How Much is it worth?" webpage at facebook, but it is for antiques and not for minerals.) The Mindat "Mineral Evaluation" messageboard is a place where people discuss values in general terms and observations about the market place, particularly eBay as it is such a notorious price offender. Of course, appraising a specimen, even in a good photo is difficult and would likely to be badly done by anyone, but the Mineral Evaluation section at Mindat is not an appraisal service and those who occasionally try to get appraisals soon discover that they are disappointed. Of course, the only details about this specimen in question are "zeolite" and "Brazil". Such informal information would attract more questions about "What is it really?" and "Where is it from?", rather than any economic information. The suggestion that someone should go to Mindat for appraisals is contradictory to what its "Mineral Evaluation" forum does.

Thank you for the clarification. If in the future someone mentions the Mindat's site "Mineral Evaluation" for appraisals of individual minerals we will link to this message.
