Excellent example of what appears to be the pseudo-octahedral habit of rhodochrosite that I have seen only from Foote. The superb photograph clearly shows the trigonal symmetry masquerading as octahedral.
The base is mostly albite with some quartz and maybe fluorapatite. Just a terrific specimen!

Here is an emerald/mica/calcite combo from North American Emerald Mines in Hiddenite. Collected 2012, sold in Tucson in 2013 I believe but don't remember who has it now. Someone on here?
