Dennis Beals, XTAL, was who promoted the exploitation of these amatsitas in a formal way in the month of October 2013 and now we have these results.

Amethyst Tehuilotepec 38cm diameter, 26 kilograms As of today this is the largest sample of good quality amethyst locality of Tehuilotepec, State of Mexico, Mexico now in Dennis Beals hands. |

Yes, some heavy, but i find some truly heavy with more than 200 crystals, however only some crystals are beautiful.
Hi! Peter, yes there are some beautiful plates, others are very interesting because they have another generation of crystals with complicated habits, gwindels and double ended and inclusions that give a green color, but are in the back of the plates and sometimes on the amethyst.
