Mike,

Wow! What great photos of those amethysts from Jackson’s Crossroads (QtzJX3.jpg, page 11 + QtzJX1.jpg, page 11)! I agree with Greg Lilly about that quartz and pyrite combination from the Shangbao Mine (QtzClusterEtch.jpg, page 10), that is certainly an oddity, but a really, really, nice one!
