Hi Frédéric,

as usual, your photos are really awesome. But you mixed up to localities with similar names in your recent pseudobrookite pictures: The description in the photos is correct and says

Rothenberg, Bell, Mendig, Eifel, Rhineland-Palatinate, Germany

while your description in the FMF entry is wrong and says

Rothenberg Mine, Oberneisen, Niederneisen, Taunus, Rhineland-Palatinate, Germany

- a wonderful locality for classic rhodochrosites, but the one with the pseudobrookites is the other one ;-)

Yes tobi, sorry, i have chose that because this choice don't exist as mindat. And it's the reason. Jordi muste correct this mistake.

Mr Ploum, you actually took a lot of these photos with a Raynox DCR 250 macro lens?! Wow!!!

Hi Pierre, not alone.

For an infinity montage you need an objective And a lens tube for focalisation.

For lens tube, several possibilities.... And for me raynox DCR 250 is perfect.

Size of sensor is important. You need calculate your lens tube for resolution of your image.

Eye right on the left and the left on the right image. When superposition is done you can seen with 3d effect.

1600 pixels optimisation.

Distance for view 0.7 m - 1 m for good angle.
