A very risky work but fortunately successful.

Thanks Philippe ;-)
Here's a specimen I'm not sure about, concerning this problem: https://www.mineral-forum.com/message-board/viewtopic.php?t=366. It is a gemmy beryl crystal and it's from Pakistan (no further information, I guess around Nagar), but I don't know if I should call it beryl, green beryl, heliodor (it is actually rather pale green than yellow), treated aquamarine or whatever:

I have never seen green to yellow beryl from such locality. But label it as beryl period. Unfortunately, the use of varieties is rather confusing and IMHO should be discouraged.

By the way: Anything new to this topic https://www.mineral-forum.com/message-board/viewtopic.php?t=366 (last post is 4 years old) ...?

A new addition to my fluorite collection. This specimen is from the Far-East Region of Russia but not from Dal'negorsk. It got the information that it is from the nearby Kavalerovo Mining district, but no further mine was provided. It could be from Silenka Mine, but I don't know for sure, any help is appreciated :-)
By the way: I think I took a good photo that does the beauty of that specimen justice :-)

I love these octahedral crystals. Well defined edges and a good color contrast. Great aesthetics. Especially remarkable the horizon Steve Smale talks about in his book.

It doesn't only look nice, I also appreciate that it is from a much rarer and lesser known localiity from the Russian Far-East than Dal'negorsk (Kavalerovo is about 70 km away from Dal'negorsk).
