Hello everyone,
Firstly, I dedicate this show report to the memory of John Veevaert. I also send our love to his wife, Ronna.
Jim and I have had a very busy year. I am now Vice President of the board of the Rice Northwest Museum of Rocks and Minerals near Portland, Oregon. I was also promoted to full board member of the Perot Museum of Nature snd Science in Dallas. ( I was advisory Board before. ) I am also on the executive committee for the SMMP group, and Jim and I are on the Hudson Institute of Mineralogy board. We are also still serving on a committee/board for the Peabody Museum at Yale, in New Haven Connecticut. And I still chair the board of the Mineralogical Record.
BUT! We still are bringing displays to all the shows. And the Denver show is what we are preparing for. And we are putting together a fine display of Mexican minerals.
I rather like the Denver show, it's less crazy hectic than Tucson, yet retains it's top notch displays.
Here we are, putting a case together in time for packing....

| Looking forward to setting this up in a lit display case at the main show. We enjoy displaying every year, it is a lot of work but highly gratifying. The Main show, at the Metchandise Mart Expo, is the backbone of the Denver gem and mineral show. |

Well we managed to get everything packed and loaded at 10:00 last night. Went to bed at midnight and out the door at 4:00 am. Gulped some coffee down just after 3:00 am. Pet the dogs goodbye and made sure the cats were in.
Just about to Amarillo and I’ve done my 2 hours of driving and can relax as Jim takes a turn.
