Very aesthetic specimen Mike!
How does the color contrast between the 2 rhodo groups (red vs. pinkish) look in real life?

The red rhodochrosite is pretty accurate in color. The lighter pink rhodochrosite is paler in normal light.

A very interesting Urubu specimen. I have seen a lot of them and once had one in my collection, but most of them were former elbaite crystals "filled" with quartz and just a small remaining layer of green tourmaline on the outside, most of them had no real termination and looked rather weathered. But a specimen of elbaite with terminated quartz crystals as upper half is really unusual. Great specimen!
