Hello Tobi, From what I can see on Mindat, it looks like "St. Michaelis Mine" is actually a number of different shafts and adits?

In German it has the the name "Fundgrube" instead of "Grube" which means that is once was a whole mining claim and not a single mine.

Thank you for the translation. I saw that word, but it is often hard to find English translations of German compound nouns. I look up the parts and get "Find Mine." This makes sense! I now have a new word as well as a new specimen.

Another nice fluorite twin from Beihilfe. Very much like Weardale twins, but not strongly fluorescent.

In reviewing Am Mizunaka's posting from January 16 2014 (before my time), I believe the "unidentified reddish mineral" is almost certainly sphalerite. Bob am mizunaka wrote: | Fluorite, galena, quartz, and unidentified reddish mineral. |

| I looked in the posting from January 16 2014 and I agree with Bob, the reddish crystals are most likely sphalerite, I added this information to the original post.
