Hello all
This is my first participation in this wonderful forum. I am interested in precious stones. I have a very solid black stone in my possession. I thought it was a meteor at the beginning But when I experimented with scratching the stone with quartz and sapphire, the stone wasn't even scratched with sapphire Could it be a black diamond?
Please help me Thank you all.

I doubt you have a genuine certified sapphire and /or did the test correctly. It's as possible to be a giant diamond as it to be an alien dropping. Also nothing about it looks like any meteorite I've seen or examined. It does look like some form of waste though. Maybe others will offer different opinions, but something seems fishy here to me.

Please take my words seriously if this stone scratches sapphires, what is your explanation dear?

please take MY words seriously. IF you have a genuinely certified sapphire that has been scratched, show the proof. Many scammers on ebay sell sapphires knowing most people cant test to confirm, plus they supply a made up certificate. Instead of enquiring you jump to diamond and you haven't shown anything to suggest this is possible, could be an artificially made tip from an earth cutting drill (harder than diamond). Where Exactly did this come out of the ground? just looks like slag to me, what you say means nothing, you haven't proven anything sensible to confirm you have been honest or tested correctly. It's large enough to do a rough specific gravity test with. What exactly it is can't be guessed at from a picture and a few words that are making an impossible claim. Answer where precisely you dug this out of the ground? not a country or region, town or smaller accuracy please.
