Nice specimen! As a quartz fan, I always like it when there are different zones of transparency and colour intensity on a crystal.

I agree with Tobi.

Have you tried the fluorescence of Calcite?
The Italian ones show a vivid yellow fluorescence.

It´s always interesting to make a comparison between specimens.


I´ve tried Sante with different LW UV lights. There isn´t any fluorescence signal.
