Superb photos, and I especially love the close-up shots. Not many people bother to take close-ups, but often they reveal so much detail about how the mineral was formed.

What a jewel! And I mean the crystals, not the cut stone ;-)
A highly aesthetic specimen with the best red colour you will find in the mineral world. No wonder that pieces like that from South Africa are among the most desired minerals!
