Hello Tobi!
I was also very surprised seeing this beryl from Serbia. Therefore, I had to buy it for my collection, though it is not a special beauty. But - as you wrote - it is rare!

Nice German specimens, Volkmar. The gypsums demonstrate how the forms of a mineral from one locality can vary. The first one reminds me of those from Zimmersrode in northern Hesse (if you know that locality?)

Hello Tobi,
I don`t know Zimmersrode, but I had the same experience with different forms of gypsums I found during my work in Mainz years ago. It seems that the clusters form in clayey matrix, and the well-formed single crystals need some open space (but that's just a guess).
