One thing that has been on my wish list for quite some time was a nice Barite from the well-known Clara Mine. This year in Tucson, I was looking through some flats under a table and found one that checked all my boxes. More often than not taking time to look through stacks of flats is time well spent.

|
Dimensions: | 8.5 x 7.2 x 3.7 cm |

Don, thank you for your comment. I saw several larger ones in Tucson, but the faces tended to be somewhat rough along with other imperfections. There was also a specimen with 2 crystals on matrix which I was considering, but the crystals were quite a bit smaller. In the end I chose this one because it was a complete crystal of good size and had interesting modifications.
Hope you and Gwen are doing well.
