Again, just back from another party...this one at the Megaw's house. We spent the day with friends having a lovely breakfast, then on to the show where we managed to see many of the incredible displays and exhibits.
I just have to post this most humourous photo...can't deny that I have never seen a man in a suit and tie with an iguana on his head before. Bill Larson at his best!

Off to the Main show today, Saturday is always so busy and fun. We will stay for the TGMS dinner tonight, in support of this wonderful club/society. It all started with them, and we like to be there to honour their efforts and bid on things in their outrageous auction!
I am sorry I haven't had time to post photos, I will catch up from where I left off as soon as I can find time.
Thank you for the great private emails as well as those responses on here....I love sharing the fun, the awesome displays, the scenery for all of you.
And yes, we have also picked up some wonderful pieces such as a 196 carat heliodor gem stone from Volodarsk! A small and lovely cubic clear to white smithsonite, a lovely titanite ( sphene ) etc. I will photo those once we are home and share with you.
Off to the Main show!!!!
