Specimens from the Georg mine were already shown, now i had the chance to get a better chalco as well as a fine tetrahedrite:

Sphalerite was rather rare, compared to bournonite and chalcopyrite.

One of the best known German pyromorphite locations before the major finds of the Bad Ems district were made, was the St. Josefsberg mine near Rheinbreitbach. The mine´s name later changed to Virneberg (type locality for pseudomalachite as well). Today the Rheinbreitbach pyro´s are not that famous anymore but Virneberg is still a classic, sought-after locale.

I remembered that our German forum member Roger (Montanpark) once published photos from the great collection of Michael Ochel here on FMF. Michael has a stunning collection of German minerals, I often visit him and he has become the main source for my new specimens during the last years.
