Older halite specimen with nice phantoms:

The above shown fluorite sample should be from the Flußschacht mine.

Another specimen from Neudorf. The largest galena is about 1.5 cm, the largest siderite 0.7 cm on edge and the largest calcite crystal 0.5 cm on edge.
Unfortunately I have no other clue about the exact mine it came from as the old label only states "Neudorf". If any of you have any idea about the mine it could have come from, I would be glad to get details through PM. Thanks.

I chose this way instead of PM because we want to share this mineralogical trip through Germany together with all its information:
Those typical combinations of galena and siderite are most likely from Grube Pfaffenberg, https://www.mindat.org/loc-21614.html

Very nice specimen, by the way :)

Neudorf is primarily known for the maybe best galenas in the world (and for sure the most desired and most expensive ones), but there were also other minerals:

What can we expect to find in Sachsen-Anhalt? : Galena from Neudorf! 😇

I fear you can't expect to find them anymore ;-) Joking aside: Gorgeous specimen, Jordi, you know I always love to see those galenas from Neudorf! Especially when combined with siderite, they are (together with rhodochrosite from Sweet Home Mine) my personal all-time favourites in the mineral world ...

Most people do not like slag minerals. Well, i do. The many of them are colourful and well-crystallized but, however, small. Sometimes you see some "monsters" like the shown piece i picked at the Ehrenfriedersdorf show last weekend.

Once again Neudorf ... though I know these specimens are rather boring without galena ... at least they are available and affordable ;-)

I only hope that fossils are accepted too.
This is a rare "Silver fish" paleoniseum freieslebeni from Fortschrittschacht, Eisleben.
At least it is a pseudomorph silver after fish.
I think our german friends know them - much fun!
