No picture, but there are very similar rhodochrosites from the 10th Level Silicate Orebody, Potosi Mine, Santa Eulalia, Chihuahua, Mexico. Interestingly, this orebody is remarkably similar compositionally and mineralogically to Uchucchacua. So far the major difference seem to be that 'Chacua is full of bustamite, which has yet to be identified at Santa Eulalia, there is also a siginficant difference in the tin mineralogy. The rhodos from both places are so similar that they could easily be mistaken.

water-clear fluorites, often with very complex crystallography are also common with the Santa Eulalia material. I have some that are so highly modified they are nearly spherical, and others that form intricate branching towers. Some cool things like natanite and jeanbandyite sometimes form on top of these fluorites, and are very aesthetic micros

Hello,

very nice minerals (especially the fluorites from the Rogerley Mine) and - Gail said it already - a great picture quality! Please go on posting your specimens!

Liebe Grüße von Hessen nach Bayern :-)

Thanks so far for the feedback. I am very happy that you like the pictures and minerals. I will post more soon. I first have to note the size of some of the specimens. I do not really care about size so far so I do not have the detailed data. More next week.

As I told I can only buy on my very limited budget. Here is a Rhodo from the sweethome Mine. The rest of the piece is not really a killer. But at least I was happy to get a reference sample. And the photo itself is a classic Sweet Home Mine shot.

This locality is rather rare today. I bought this when I was at the location in the early 1990ies with my dad. Now I am happy to have a sample at all.

Neptunite with Benitoite in combination are rather highly prized. I was able to get this for a real good price I think. A nice reference sample.
