That, my dear fellow mineral collectors, is that. We went out to do that photo shoot, had dinner with Tom Gressman from the Mineralogical Record, said our goodbyes and drove 282 miles home. It was a sweet time at the party, the Webbs were wonderful hosts, and a great day at the mineral show on Friday.
I hope you enjoy my photo journal of the show.

Photo 234 is the Houston Gem and Mineral Society booth. Dave Waisman gives us the booth every year to promote our club/classes/clubhouse/annual show. You caught Clyde McMeans half in the photo on the left, Dr. Neal Immega sitting down in the black shirt (PhD in Paleontology), and Nancy Fischer and Ray Kizer standing up. Many members of the club come out to staff the booth for the three days of the show. We mail Dave's postcards to all our members, and many of them come to the show.
