One small warning: The museum is open, but so far only at rather strange hours for a museum, Monday to Friday, 10:00 to 2:00. No evenings or weekends. So don't drive to Tucson for the weekend to see it. Hopefully in future there will be hours that are more convenient for people with regular jobs.

What struck me about their publicity is that they do not know the locality for any of their specimens! Did they misplace the labels?

We could help them with some localities, I guess.

I posted my photos in this post some time ago "University Arizona Tucson Mineral Museum, Feb 2011". If Jordi would like he can move them to this posting.

The Museums have individual sections where every post related with those Museums are grouped.
In this case: University Arizona Tucson Mineral Museum where the post and the images that you mentioned are already there, so, better not duplicate it.
