PostPosted: Jan 06, 2013 18:47    Post subject: Must see mineralogical galleries in Paris (France)

3 places to go:

The mineralogy museum of Ecole des Mines (an engineer school)
https://www.musee.ensmp.fr/
Old school and historical.

The UPMC university minerals collection:
https://www.impmc.upmc.fr/fr/collection_de_mineraux.html
Very aesthetic presentation.

The mineralogical gallery at the museum of natural history
https://www.museum-mineral.fr/home.php
(links normalized by FMF)

Currently closed for renovation, it should open again in december 2013. Let's note that it features a collection of giant crystals.
