Some parts of my collection, perhaps small but not for my size is not of great importance, I really like the aesthetic and beautiful, the color, brightness and shape of the crystal is the main thing to consider which will be in my show case, I hope they like even if I'm not good for photos.

Holy cow Javier!!! Nice specimens. How old is the Mina Ojuela fluorite? I gather it is one of the newer ones, mined in the past year or so. All good rocks, and your photos are just fine. Kep 'em coming, we're enjoying this.
Oh, did you acquire them all in Mexico, or through the various dealers who are offering them here in the US?

Hi Ed, all the minerals it myself directly from the mining towns, and fluorite that i found last year when I visited the bridge Ojuela in a sales and crafts minerals, some found them too when I leave exploring and looking for them in abandoned mines or ore to surface, as is the case of quartz and others, to show you more in front.

Some parts more than spinel twinned fluorite, the place known as mixed mantles, level 590, opposite the mine Naica 5000 Chihuahua Mexico. the most precious of my collection.
These pieces came about three years ago and were very few parts, and these measures and undamaged, Maybe just a few, fortunately I was lucky enough to acquire these magnificent specimens.

Thanks for the comments, I try to form a good collection of Mexican minerals but it is difficult, many people come to buy minerals and pay a lot to resellers, some already have agreements with foreign buyers and sold to local collectors, that although we are few in Mexico, more and more people are interested in the issue of collecting, the study and research of minerals

Ed, this piece is the first I got, in 1991 when he was still military and non Penza in collecting, is a long story, buy a shoe box with some pieces of this type, the person told me they had about seven or eight years with them, offered as a gift because we help them repair their home as part of an assistance program offered by the army in case of disaster, this in a town that has nothing to do with mining.
