Sometimes arise in your job life situations that make you feel confuse more than you are sailing in stormy days. After more than interesting working months under the orders of Jordi, I took the tough decision to return to the world of recycled plastics from which I came before joining FM. It was not an easy decision and the shadow of doubt if I was doing the right thing is in my head. There are times where some trains run in front of you only once and not always a plastic multinational company opens its doors.
Although, I finally took my decision. Having been in Fabre Minerals, with his wonderful team, has taught me a lot of things, but for me there are a couple of them that I have marked in my mind. First, that if one does the job in the right way, methodically, not leaving anything to chance and with good work "protocols" like an ISO (Jordi could ask the ISO that sure it be not refused) your work has its rewards. A second is that now when I see a mineral specimen my point of view and feeling is totally different. I analyze every detail (like Jordi use to do), its aesthetics, perfection and what makes it truly unique, giving you the correct idea that the value of a good specimen has its reason. Perhaps it is obvious, but now I see it clearly.
It has been an experience more than interesting and I hope that we continue to work in these forums (that I had a a little bit forgotten) and everything that Jordi thinks convenient.
It is not a "goodbye", it is "see you later".
