Hi Carles, once again all of your specimens proof that you have a good taste concerning fine minerals. Very nice, especially the Erongo aquamarine! ( https://www.mineral-forum.com/message-board/viewtopic.php?p=18366#18366 )

Hi, Tobi!

Having a good taste is not difficult at all. The hardest for many of us (me included) is getting the money!

Tourmaline, quartz, albite

Group of several dark green tourmaline (maybe elbaite) crystals, showing some green to colorless zoning at their tips, accompanied by transparent colorless quartz and albite crystals. Overall size: 72 mm x 61 mm x 48 mm. Main tourmaline size: 11 mm wide. Weight: 177 g. (The transparent zone at the crystal tips is not really blue but almost colorless. Such color is induced by the background.)

(I'm just starting today with a new camera. Hope it will help improve my photos a little. Here is the first delivery.)

Anyone interested in higher resolution photos will find them at https://www.mindat.org/photo-261679.html

I must also add that the lighting on that top pic is excellent in the way you captured the striations running up the tourm. crystal..subtle enough to catch them but not overbearing..well done!
