Those are really neat little crystals! They appear to be opaque, so I guess maybe the blue color comes from inclusions of another mineral, perhaps an amphibole. I found some once in New Jersey that were similar, but the color was not nearly as nice and as uniform.

Yes, the colour can to be due to the magnesio-riebeckite inclusions,

Hi Trencapedres,
Welcome to this section! We're happy to count with another fellow. As people in your area uses to say, and me too, "Alacant és la millor terreta del món".
Do you have any photos of the silicates found near Albatera-el Fondó dels Frares? If so, I'd like to see them posted here.

Una Abraçada.

Hola José Ramón
Very nicely colored blue quartz. I would put it that some are pseudo cubic!

Hi Peter.
I sorry for delay in answering.
Yes, those blue quartz are very littles but the colour is very very nice and the crystalization is very interesting because usually this blue quartz haven't body.
And some of thems are really cubic crystals as you can see on the picture DSCN5753.JPG.
Sorry for my bad English.
Best wishes.

Welcome to the party Jose. An auspicious beginning, with the unusual blueish quartz crystals, and some of them pseudo-cubic to boot. I think they are wonderful, and I thank you for sharing with everyone.
Are these things peripheral to some sort of ore body? Epithermal banded veins or the like?
And don't worry about your command of the english language. It's all about the rocks/minerals, and the pictures practically speak for themselves. Your english will improve over time, and our appreciation of the things you post will grow along with it.
Thanks for sharing.
Saludos desde Kingman, Arizona, USA.
