He refers to this pink fluorapatite from Pakistan. Any experiences of such specimens losing their colour?
Thanks
Tobi

Tobi, I got some pink apatite specimens from the Nagar area many years ago and I have not noted any decrease in color.
I must say that I keep my samples in a drawer outside of direct sunlight.
Cheers.

Hi, Tobi.
I have my specimens on some shelves on the wall at the living room because I like enjoying them daily. Of course they are preserved from direct sunlight or intense light exposures.
Among them I have a pink apatite from Pakistan Northern areas, but I haven't noticed any colour changes during several years.
