Found the in SE wisconsin and curious to understand the unusual texture. It has an SG of 2.95. You can see areas that chipped away the are dark. I assume this is chemical weathering.

Looks like a mafic igneous rock...gabbro or basalt. Hornblende possible but a dark pyroxene more likely. Greenish color suggests possible weathering
