I have just received my copy of the ninth volume of Miguel Rebollar's Minerales y Minas de España - entitled Silicatos.

Yet another great informative hardcover volume, completing this fantastic set of volumes on the minerals of Spain.

I strongly urge all collectors with an interest in Spanish minerals to acquire this volume along with the others in this series.

Yes, ok so I don't read Spanish, but with the help of a Spanish/English dictionary I can make my way around the text.

Well done to Miguel, Thank you.

Cheers

Thanks for this mention and recommendation.
Very good point regarding the language! Big part of English vocabulary is from Latin anyway. The additional vocabulary needed to understand a scientific text in Spanish is very limited. The important is interest in the subject matter, lack of Spanish knowledge should not be an issue. Actually this is a great opportunity to learn basic Spanish without noticing the effort.

I fully agree that Dr Miguel Calvo's encyclopaedic works set a very high standard! It is a pity that similarly comprehensive books are not available for every country on our globe.
