I recently acquired this specimen.

The seller told me that Dr. Federico Pezzotta of the Mineralogy Department of Museo di Storia Naturala in Milan, Italy told him that the specimen comes from a "very famous discovery at Fonte del Prete (very close to the San Piero Village) in which a series of interconnected pockets were found by Giuseppe Pisani before 1883, and which produced the finest specimens with quartz, lepidolite and albite and relatively large pink elbaite crystals."

I bought this piece because it seems pretty unusual for the locality. Just wondering if anyone has seen this material before, or knows anything about the history of this presumed find.
