I have this small mineral collection from the USSR, purchased back when the USSR still existed under that name, and I'm wondering whether it's worth anything as a collectible or political curiosity? The minerals seem fairly commonplace, but the box with its Russian characters and whatnot struck me as unusual in this day & age. Are these sets a dime a dozen, or is this a rare item not commonly seen on the market? Thanks in advance for any & all helpful replies... I attach photos of the collection, the box pics may be upside-down. Cheers!

This thread likely to get closed quickly. Valuations and marketing is not permitted here. You little collection has no worth, give it to someone interested in collecting, preferably a child to learn with.

Sidewinder, you could be right, maybe the box is of historical interest for someone who collects stuff from the USSR.
But as Steve said, the tumbled rocks don't have any value ...
