Hello everyone.
This is my little collection of minerals from Romania, mostly what I collected on the field. I know that it is not so interesting like your collection :), but I hope to find someday minerals beautiful as yours.
I hope you like it.

Hi mihailovici !
Please, could you include the size of every specimen? Remember too that the species name, locality and size, for the FMF Gallery to work properly, must be written in three lines, one after another.
Thanks for posting your pictures here.
Keep going.

It is highly recommended to carefully read the topic How does "Collection Photos" work? before posting photos in this section. Please, don't forget to do it. Thank you!

Hi Mihailovici, I enjoyed seeing your self-collected specimens. Among the things I first collected were carnelian agates in NJ, and I still enjoy them now (nearly 50 years later!). Best of luck in your future field collecting!

One of the best things about collecting at locations that you visit is that each mineral is also a continual reminder of the place/trip. From my youth, I always collected a rock/mineral from our vacations/trips. That makes each specimen extremely special to you.

You`re right :).
I`ve started to collect minerals/rocks almost 2 years ago, so I`ve lost so many places were I could collect rocks/minerals :)( I`ve traveled almost all over Europe and Egypt until 2 yers ago when my first child was born :)) .
My first discovery was 22 years ago, when I`ve found a whale vertebra :), then I`ve found a lot of marine fosiles.
Best Regards
Mihail
