Large amounts of secondary copper minerals from both Congos were available at the Tucson Shows this year - especially dioptase and malachite. There was also a small scattering of mimetites - most of which were heavily damaged.

I scrounged through many "chunks" of material with vugs of yellow mimetite and came across one that I think is "Mimetite with Pyromorphite and Plumbogummite".

Seems to me this is a really rare set of associations and although this specimen is not all that good, it provides optimism that there may be some great secondary lead specimens to come in the future.
