Hi everyone, I'm new, not a mineral fan but I need your Windows.
I have found in my garden, in Spain, this rock, fossil... I don't know, please help me.
Is not coal, is hard...

Are simetric holes on one side, in the other are not so simetric.

I would hazard a guess that it is a trace fossil or some form of fossil bark or fern.
Perhaps try a forum that deals with fossils for help..
After looking more closely there is some carboniferous material present in the pockets (the black coal like deposit}
