The specimens and photography are impressive.
How do you identify these micros?

How are the colors added to the SEM images?

I have a specimen with small, highly iridescent chalcopyrite crystals from Reynolds Co., Missouri. The dealer who sold the specimen said the iridescence was natural. Is that likely to be true?

Looks more complicated than a simple hisingerite replacement of ilvaite. Hisingerite normally looks like brown beer bottle glass and generally forms as an alteration of pyrite.

Was the collecting site an old mine dump or quarry?

The specimens and pictures are very impressive. Are there any photos of the collecting areas you could post?

It would be interesting to see any close-up photos of the actual rocks, formations, quarries or mines where the pictured specimens were collected.

The quality of the specimen photos is impressive.
