Hi everyone,
My name is Darby Sorrell. I just joined the forum today and was introduced to it by one of my co-workers who's an ex-geology professor. I work in the oil field as a mud logger.
For those who don't know what that is.... as the drilling rig drills the hole and fluids are circulated thru it to bring the rock cuttings to the surface i collect those cuttings and clean them for analysis under a microscope and log the formations as we drill the well they entend to produce oil and or gas from. I like the pictures i seen so far and added my personal photo of my favorite rock i found so far i call rocosaur. you can find it under macros and micros entitled limestone in shale. |
