The last year I did my usual daily write-up about Ste. Marie 2010 ( https://www.mineral-forum.com/message-board/viewtopic.php?t=644 ) and luckily also Chris, Montanpark, Gerhard Niklasch and MineralParagon did another fine write-up ( https://www.mineral-forum.com/message-board/viewtopic.php?t=649 ). His write-up was made not exactly during the show but a little bit late, but as they wasn't exhibitors in the Show they had much more time and energy than me, so his write-up was much more extended and diversified than my write-up.

This year what I propose to do is to do just a single thread with his and my write-up; I will cover (shortly) the pre-Show and the previous and first days of the Show and they can complete it with his extended coverage when they back to their homes.

I believe that it will be much better for everybody. For me because I will have less pressure to publish a complete coverage and for the readers because they will get an unified overview about the Show certainly more complete than my regular daily news.

So, Chris, Montanpark, Gerhard Niklasch, Montanpark, MineralParagon (and everybody else who want join us) are you ready to create with me the best thread about Ste. Marie ever written in FMF? ;-)

of course i can provide pictures and some impressions - but probably will be after the show - i may have a notebook and WLAN available at our accommodation but not sure. I also hope to find the time to make a report on mindat as last year so there will be some stuff to be posted here also. Will be at the show from Wednesday afternoon.

Thanks a lot folks, I pay you a glass of beer! Saturday 26th at 6:15 PM, at the closure of the Show, both are invited to share a glass with me in the place front the Tourisme Office (Rue Wilson 86).

Of course Gerhard Niklasch and MineralParagon are also invited as well as everybody publishing some comment, image, anything in the thread: "Sainte Marie-aux-Mines 2009 Show" that I will start in the next days.

No beer for me on Saturday though - I'll have some distance to drive to reach my hotel afterwards. :)

friday would be better, but there is also a mindat meeting at Toms booth (Spirifer Minerals) on 5.30 p.m. ... so we have to manage a bit ;-)

Yes, that is true - in our booth at 17.30 will be MinDat meeting with beer etc. I think it will last to the end of the show. I think that it will be quiet good party :) We invite of course all of you - 17.30 at tant CV 18! Free beer is waiting :-)

Well, still better, people can start in Mindat's party at 5:30 and then, if they wish, meet us at 6:15-6:30, take a seat outside with us enjoying the (supposedly) nice weather and drink a glass of cold beer. Synergy! ;-)
