I got back to Alaska last Thurs and have finally gotten myself dug out enough to start posting pictures again from TGMS 2011. But before i do, i wanted to post pictures from the UA Mineral Museum, which featured an excellent exhibit on the first floor of Afghan minerals. Gail already posted some pictures of this exhibit on her TGMS thread, hopefully these pictures are a useful adjunct.

Matt, so glad to know you made it home safely. I loved meeting your Mom and hope she is well also? Thanks for posting these wonderful photos, everyone takes different photos so it is great to see all shots possible.

So as not to add a new section here are some photos of the new Alfie Norville Gem & Mineral Museum taken back in May 2021. They are open to the public starting next week. When in town make the time to see the museum.
