Barbie, Luvecor

Brilliance is a physical surface effect.
If surface is not even, then it is not shiny.

You could first clean the specimens with water and a neutral soap.
Other cleanings, if not carried by people trained, could end with burnings and material damaged.
Or if you have a water gun, that is good to eliminate mud.

If piece is not shiny, then you could

-polish
-oil
-varnish

In all cases, piece is ruinated for my taste.

By the way, Barbie, in what is based that the pieces are corundum?
Hardness?

With best wishes

Lluís
